Iowa native and Hollywood actor Ron Livingston campaigned in Marshalltown Tuesday on behalf of the Barack Obama campaign.

Visiting with students in the student union of Marshalltown Community College, Livingston encouraged everyone to vote and noted that a special satellite voting location will be set up on the MCC campus Thursday for those wishing to vote early.

During the Iowa Caucuses, Livingston said, "Iowa had unprecedented turnout of new voters. It's was caused, in large part, from the energy created from people your age."

However, when Livingston was asked if Obama has energized young people so much about this campaign, he said he believes it is the other way around.

"I think they [the younger generations] are energizing him," he said.
