Barack Obama has landed two new celeb supporters: Nicole Richie and beau Joel Madden.

Along with newborn daughter Harlow, the two hit this weekend's Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Palm Springs, where Madden sported an Obama T-shirt.

Asked if they're backing the Democrat, he told Usmagazine.com. "Yes, we are."

"He is a good man, he is cool," Madden added. "He is just a great person overall."
