Three of the entertainment industry's biggest names — DreamWorks studio founders Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen — planned a private, Beverly Hills fundraiser for the freshman senator from Illinois.

Spielberg, for example, is a host of the event but has not made an endorsement. Katzenberg and Geffen are backing Obama.

Hollywood is jumping off the Hillary Clinton bandwagon and jumping on Barack Obama’s – three top movie moguls are throwing a fund-raiser for the Illinois senator.

Steven Spielberg, David Geffen and Jeffrey Katzenberg, principals in Dreamworks SKG, are hosting the February 20 event at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Dreamworks has contributed $47,000 to Clinton since her 2000 Senate campaign, and Spielberg alone has donated $11,000.
