Howard Wolfson
Howard Wolfson was most recently co-Chief Strategist and Communications Director for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. Considered one of Hillary's Clinton's closest advisers, Wolfson contributed to the campaign's overall message strategy and managed the campaigns' rapid response and war room operation.
For nearly 20 years Wolfson has been a committed advocate on behalf of Democratic candidates and causes. He has been honored by Planned Parenthood for his work on behalf of reproductive rights, and was given The American Association of Political Consultants' Democratic Most Valuable Player award in 2001.
Prior to Clinton's presidential campaign, Wolfson led the New York Office of The Glover Park Group, where he is a partner, and worked on several congressional campaigns and for the Democratic Party. Widely known for his role as Communications Director and senior adviser for Hillary Clinton's 2000 and 2006 Senate campaigns, Wolfson also recently served as a strategist for the New York State Democratic Party.
As Executive Director of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) from 1998-2000, Wolfson oversaw advertising in over 40 media markets and was responsible for a $50 million budget. He also provided strategic, political and campaign advice on a daily basis to all Democratic House members. Howard previously served as Communications Director for then Representative Charles Schumer's 1998 Senate campaign and as Chief of Staff and Press Secretary to Representative Nita Lowey.
