ED SCHULTZ: Bachmann for that matter is exactly what the modern Republican Party is all about. Bachmann has never voted for a tax increase. She believes government is the problem and the free market is going to save everything in America.

Facts and logic have no place in the Republican Party. That’s why Bachmann I guess you could say is the perfect fit. Republican policy has systematically destroyed the middle class in America for years, but Bachmann is her Party’s biggest cheerleader as well.

As first picked up before other blogs early Wednesday afternoon by NewsBusters from Brian Maloney’s Radio Equalizer blog, MSNBC host Ed Schultz, on his Tuesday radio show carried by satellite radio, slimed conservative radio host Laura Ingraham as a “right-wing slut.”

ED SCHULTZ: And what do the Republicans thinking about? They're not thinking about their next-door neighbor. They're just thinking about how much this is going to cost. President Obama is going to be visiting Joplin, Mo., on Sunday but you know what they're talking about, like this right-wing slut, what's her name?, Laura Ingraham? Yeah, she's a talk slut. You see, she was, back in the day, praising President Reagan when he was drinking a beer overseas. But now that Obama's doing it, they're working him over.

Ed Schultz on Thursday mocked Congressman Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) as a young, inexperienced kid who's never run a business, never had to meet payroll, and who offered up a radical plan that he doesn’t know the ramifications of.

ED SCHULTZ: I think it’s interesting that the Republicans are trotting this kid out there. He’s in his early forties, he’s never run a business, he’s never had to meet payroll, yet he seems to have all the answers for the social engineering that is exactly what Newt Gingrich was talking about, and he offers up a radical plan, and he doesn’t know the ramifications of it.

He knows in the Congress as long as he’s been there and what kind of career he has that he’s never going to have to worry about healthcare. He’s never going to have to worry about pensions. He comes from safe territory with a very radical plan.
