Actor Don Cheadle, a Kansas City native, will become the latest Hollywood star to stump for Barack Obama here when he visits Missouri tomorrow.

Cheadle, whose credits include socially-concious flicks such as Crash and Hotel Rwanda, will be at University of Missouri-St. Louis tomorrow at 4 p.m. for a voter registration event.

In the last few weeks, fellow actors Harper Hill and Ashley Judd have also come to St. Louis on Obama’s behalf.

At a Tinseltown event in late June, just after he eliminated Clinton from the race, Obama drew an all-star cast of supporters including actors Samuel L. Jackson, Don Cheadle, John Malkovich and Dennis Quaid.

The audience also included supermodels Cindy Crawford and Heidi Klum, whose husband, singer Seal, sang two songs to fire up the VIP crowd.

Just in case the Barack Obama cash convoy slows down a bit, Hollywood celebs are lining up in droves to appear at fundraising events for their presidential candidate fave.

“Gray’s Anatomy”’s Ellen Pompeo attended a Seattle event and brought in the campaign bread for Barack.

To fund Mr. Obama’s trip to Washington, “West Wing” creator Aaron Sorkin and “Lethal Weapon” director Richard Donner are set to appear in Beverly Hills for a screening of the classic “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.”

To snag some left coast currency, an invitation-only “Black & White Gala” is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles. The event’s honorary board includes Don Cheadle, Jessica Alba, Lucy Liu, and Ashley Judd.
