While most people spent their weekend relaxing, Deidre Hall (Marlena, Days) spent hers rallying for presidential hopeful, Barack Obama. On September 14, Hall joined U.S. Representative, Carolyn Maloney (D-NY), traveling through Central Florida as part of the “Change We Need” Tour.

A “Women For Obama” event, Hall and Maloney stopped in Silver Springs, Gainesville and The Villages retirement community to discuss Obama’s stance on issues including, social security, equal pay, health care and the right to reproductive choice.
