Claire Danes Liberal Hall of Shame
Andre Heinz, the stepson of Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry, bounded up to the door and pressed his face to the glass before leading actresses Claire Danes and Rashida Jones into the gallery. They were in town to rally the college vote with appearances at Columbus State Community College and Ohio State University during the day, and dropped by the gallery for a few brief words about the campaign and some stage-managed mingling with invitees. “I think part of it is for the same reason that so many other people are registering to vote for the very first time,” the former My So-Called Life star said. “I think Bush has really, and in unequivocal ways—although obviously a lot of people don’t agree with this—hurt the country.” by J.
