The Book of Exodus
Exodus is the Greek word for "exit". Exodus documents how God rescued Israel from Egypt by Moses. It records Isreals birth as a nation. Exodus tells the history of Israel from after the death of Joseph to the erection of the Tabernacle by Moses. The book includes an account of the wanderings in the wilderness of Sinai and the giving of the Law by God.
