Obama Skips Church
to Work Out on Sundays
More than two weeks after winning the presidential election Barack Obama
has still not attended a church service. Lets face it- there are a lot
of false Christians. We all know some.... I don't mean people that give
in to temptation on occasion and drink a little too much on the weekend.
I mean people that go to church on Sundays and live a completely contradictory
lifestyle. They don't know the Bible. They don't even try to live by biblical
principles. It could be their fault or their churches? Some churches don't
teach the Bible or offer teaching support. Some people spend more time
following their favorite football teams or shopping for clothes than studying
the principles of Christianity.
Just because you say that you are a Christian- it doesn't mean you are. Going to church no more makes you a Christian than sitting in your garage makes you a car. Obama says that he is a Christian. I know this - true Christians flocked to church the following Sunday after the election to pray for the president elect. I also know this - true Christians go to church and pray when facing difficult or challenging times. You would think after winning the election Obama would have gone to church soon afterward? You would think? I mean- he has time togo to the gym on Sundays...
Now many will read this and say- here is a Christian judging someone....
Here is a perfect example. The majority of people do not understand the Bible. We all make judgments everyday. However- when you judge someone without knowing the facts- that is called non-biblical judging. That is what it means to judge someone. Walk into your children's room because both are crying and yelling and you punish both of them without knowing what happened. Well- you judged them- because you came to a conclusion without knowing the facts... one may have done nothing wrong...
Please know what the Bible says about judging.... most people know the first sentence below... but pay close attention to the second sentence.
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you
judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will
be measured to you.."
Matthew 7:1-2
It says that you will be judged by the same standards or measures that you judge with....
That is why you must have all the facts to make a judgement. In a murder trial - if you are on a jury- you are told to judge the actions of the defendant. If the defendant is on video killing someone while robbing a store... these are the facts that you base your judgment on. If I was on the jury I could make the judgment that the defendant is guilty of murder with such facts. Please know that I would also want to be held to the same standard if I committed that crime....
If I became president of the United States- as a Christian - I would go to church the first Sunday after the election before I walked into a gym to work out. If I did not- I would ask to be held to the same standard that I am judging Barack Obama by.
Lastly- a prediction based on the facts of Obama's behavior of skipping church to go work out. I am making a prediction here- because the model for such behavior is well documented throughout history- John Edwards being the most recent. What characteristics did John Edwards display in the national spotlight? He was not a particularly religious man, he was very arrogant, he was very rich monetarily, he stayed in really good shape for his age, he was always well groomed, he dressed in the finest suits, he was married to his wife a very long time, his wife was not in the best physical shape and he had millions of people that adored him. And what was John Edwards doing? He was having an affair while his wife was fighting cancer!
Barack Obama is not a particulary religious man, he is very arrogant, he is very rich monetarily, he stays in really good shape for his age, he is always well groomed, he dresses in the finest suits, he is married to his wife a very long time, his wife is not in the best physical shape and he has millions of people that adore him.
Obama skips church on Sundays to workout in order to stay in good physical shape...
Hmmm- could it be that he is worshiping a false God?
