The re-election of George W. Bush and Tax Cuts
One of the important reasons that George W. Bush was re-elected was to
illustrate that tax cuts stimulate the economy and economic growth. Liberals
live their lives in a vacuum. They say that if you cut taxes it is less
revenue for the government. However- that does not take into account more
money in the hands of people. More money in the hands of people - means
more money spent on the economy. Consumers spend money! This stimulates
the economy- which means that more jobs are created. If more jobs are
created that means that more people paying personal income tax and paying
more sales tax. You must understand that if John Kerry was elected - liberals
right now would be giving credit to Kerry for the state of the economy.
However- the truth is- it was George W. Bush's tax cuts that led to the
current state of the economy.
