The Staircase
Commentary from the Editor

Sometimes in life you will encounter trouble and sometimes it may be more than you think you can handle. When this happens think of a staircase.

A staircase is the best way to raise yourself higher. Each step that you take lifts you to a place above where you were before. The steps you take represent an obstacle in life. It may be a task, burden, problem or just a feeling. And each step is one you must take, because if you don’t- you will remain in the same place or just go backward…..

And then what have you accomplished?

And on every staircase there are rails for you to hold. These rails are your family and friends that are by your side for support! When you are struggling- hold them tightly! They will keep you steady!

And don't take too many steps at once or go to fast- because that's when stumble and fall. Take your time! You see - if you took that staircase and raised it straight upward to the sky and tried to climb all the steps at once- there would be no support or rails to hold and as you thought you had overcome your problems you would just fall back to the bottom where you started.

So place one foot above the other and climb your staircase slowly and whatever problems that you have they will be overcome. One day before you know it - you will be at the top of that staircase looking down at all that you have accomplished…..

And you will have reached your destination!
