Proof Democrats are not Patriotic
with a History Lesson

Democrats say they are patriotic....

But- the majority of people that vote Democrat - do it for their own self interest.

Gays vote Democrat - because they want gay marriage.
Welfare recipients vote Democrat - because they want more benefits.
Criminals vote Democrat - because Democrats are soft on crime.
Many parents with children in the military vote Democrat- because of the Iraq War.

What do all these things have in common..... self interest.

So now a history Lesson- the signers of the Declaration of Independence risked their wealth, businesses, property, families and lives for one thing- the cause of freedom. One signer stated: "I was determined to see how they all looked as they signed what might be their death warrant." What you did not learn in history class is that the British targeted them for capture, burned their homes, destroyed their businesses and a few spent time in prison....

Carter Braxton- a wealthy planter and trader saw just about every shipping vessel in which he held an interest sunk or captured by the British.

John Hart- his fields and his property were ruined. For more than a year he lived in forests and caves as a fugitive.

Richard Stockton- was captured by the British and treated with brutality. His home was destroyed, his library, one of the best in the country, was burned, and his lands were ruined. He died at the age of 51 in poverty.

Thomas Heyward, Jr. - was taken prisoner to St. Augustine, Florida, where he was imprisoned for a year. Most of what he owned was destroyed.

Other countries Europe, Africa, China.....have been around for thousands of years- but America in less than 250 years has surpassed them all in every aspect and the world despises us for that. Not much larger than Australia- we are the richest, most powerful and most charitable country the world has ever known. We have liberated millions from tyranny....

People from all over the world have come to America and made themselves a success... Why did they not do it in their own country?

The reason is simple- they did not have freedom...

Barack Obama wants to fundamentally change America.... so it no longer resembles America....

One Obama supporter into the camera said - that because of Barack Obama- she did not have to worry about putting gas in her car or paying her mortgage.

Patriotic means doing what is best for the country and not for your own self interest...

It is not about you...

The truth is that the majority of Democrats vote out of self interest and nothing else and that is not patriotic.

If the signers of the Declaration of Independence were liberals and did what was in their own self interest- they would have let the British rule to save themselves...
