Partial Birth Abortion and the Big Liberal Lie
Recently- the 9th District Court of Appeals overturned the legislation
by Congress banning partial birth abortions (terminating the life of a
baby as it is being born) because there was no exception for the health
of the mother. Legislation enacted by Congress allowed for partial birth
abortions only when the mothers life (not health) was in danger. This
was a bill passed by both Houses of Congress of the United States and
signed by President Bush into law and yet it was determined to be not
a valid law by a court 5 judges (an example of judicial liberal activism)
and so it was overturned.
As previously noted- the court overturned the bill- because it did not allow partial birth abortions if the health of the mother was compromised. What did the court base its decision on? When in society are you allowed to terminate a life based on the fact that your health is in danger? Deadly force may only be used to counter deadly force. If deadly force is used in any other circumstance - it is considered murder.
Recently in Florida a new law expanded the long-existing "castle doctrine", a common law principle that allows homeowners who fear for their lives to use deadly force to defend themselves from an intruder in their homes. A person is justified in using deadly force when the force is "necessary to prevent death, great harm or the commission of a forcible felony". There has been great uproar by liberals over this law. Liberals believe that the law in protecting yourself and your family is too extreme. However- where is their uproar over abortion?
If we base the decision of life and death on health- does that mean if someone with the flu coughs on you- that you have the right to kill them? If you follow the logic of liberals and the Ninth District Court of Appeals you would be able to so- because your health is in danger. Could you imagine the chaos if this standard was applied to every day life? However- it is the standard liberals apply to innocent unborn children.
Do you want more hypocrisy? Think about the assault by liberals on police officers when they use force trying to apprehend criminals that intend to harm or kill them. Not only is their health in danger- but their lives are in danger. However- liberals condemn their actions. They protest, march and riot against the police officers. Yet- when an innocent harmless baby's life is terminated as it is being born for the possibility of a health issue- liberals defend this. This is the liberal lie. It is the half truths and disinformation (it is my body and I can do what I want with it) by liberals that allows innocent unborn children to be murdered.
