Increasing Desperation of Liberalism In the 2000 Presidential election - Democrats attempted to steal the election and use liberal activist judges to help them do it. Federal election law states that you cannot change the rules of an election once an election begins. The purpose is so that those in power cannot change the laws to benefit themselves in order to keep power. Democrats tried to change how votes were counted in that election after all the votes were cast. Democratic Presidential candidate Al Gore only wanted to hand count votes in certain counties that had a high number of registered Democrats. These acts violated numerous election laws including the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment- however- Democrats believe this to be OK. In the last few years liberal activist judges appointed by Democrats have ruled in favor of the sanctioning of gay marriage despite the fact that there were state laws, amendments or referendums forbidding it. We have seen elected representatives of the Democratic Party actually participate in the presiding over or handing out of marriage licenses to gay couples. Elected officials are sworn to uphold the law- not break it. What if President Bush decided that he wanted to shut down all abortion clinics because he disagreed with abortion? What if every time a public official disagreed with a law - they just chose to ignore it or even worse helped citizens to break it? What would be the result? The result would be anarchy. However- Democrats believe this to be OK. Sandy Berger - the National Security Advisor during the Clinton Administration - removed classified documents from the National Archives before he testified before the 9/11 Commission. Many say the documents were related to the Clinton Administration's reluctance to capture or kill Osama bin Laden. Can you imagine the uproar if Condoleeza Rice did this? If these documents could prove that the Clinton Administration had neglected to seize the opportunity to rid the world of bin Laden, a man who orchestrated the killing of 3,000 Americans, it would make Watergate look like a pick pocketing. However - there was no uproar from the Democrats. They defended Berger saying that the person they know would never do such a thing. Apparently, Democrats believe this to be OK. During the 2004 election, CBS News attempted to aide the Democratic Party by airing a story about President Bush based on forged documents. They did not do the necessary background checks to ensure the documents were legitimate before the story was aired. In the end, CBS admitted that the documents might not be authentic, but they believed the story surrounding the documents was true,. This is like someone saying that they believe that John Kerry was a murderer and so they plant evidence to show it. They take the evidence to CBS News and it is aired without any scrutiny. After it is proven false- CBS says - well the evidence may have been planted, but the story is true. Democrats believed this to be OK. The rise of cable news in America has brought the true liberal agenda to light. It is not an agenda of the mainstream, but a far left agenda of a minority. For 50 years Democrats had the advantage of a liberal leaning media via NPR, PBS, LA Times, NY Times, ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN. However - despite all of these news outlets liberals are now upset over one network- Fox News. Also- please note that despite all of these liberal leaning news outlets, the Republican Party is the dominate political party in America. In the past Rush Limbaugh was the only outlet for conservatism. Now conservatism can be found everywhere. The Democratic Parties hold on the media is over. As a result, Democrats will continue to lose power in America and they will become increasingly desperate. The acts described above are only a precursor to what Democrats will do in the future. It has not even been a week since the election and Democrats are already making excuses and saying that President Bush ran the dirtiest campaign since Richard Nixon. This coming from a party that called President Bush a liar, thief, draft dodger..... They still have not learned and they will not change. The Democratic Party may lie and say that they are moving to the center- but they will not. It is not their nature and it is not what they believe. During the 2004 presidential election, we have seen Republican headquarters vandalized, slashed tires at Republican "Get Out the Vote Campaigns", false stories created, documents forged and attempts to make voter fraud easier. The truth is that liberals are the true zealots and extremists. It is they who are attempting to start their own radio network and cable news network. In the future liberals will purposefully spread lies, commit voter fraud, attempt to rig elections and quite possibly attempt assassination to advance their agenda. This is a civil cultural war. It is a war that we conservatives did not ask for, but it is a war that we must win. And the way to win this war - is to just stay informed. Written by Thomas
