Why a Christian should never be a Democrat
One of the platforms of the Democratic Party is the position of Pro Choice. Pro Choice is the support of abortion- including partial birth abortion with no restriction.
Partial birth abortion is a method of late-term (after 20 weeks or 5 months) abortion that terminates a pregnancy and results in the death of a partially born child. The brain of the child is removed as it is being born in order to terminate the life.
Democrats (liberals) argue that partial birth abortion is a valid procedure when the mother's HEALTH is in danger. Republicans (conservatives) argue that the procedure should only be used if the mother's LIFE is in danger. The conservative position is the correct one! There is no place in established law that allows a person to take another life if only your health is in danger.
Think of the consequences if this standard were applied to everyday life. If you have a cold- by speaking with you- my health becomes endangered- does this mean that I have the right to take your life? The standard would create chaos. It makes no sense!
Strange - liberals that are for the death penalty of an innocent child as it is being born - are against the death penalty for those found guilty of heinous crimes against innocent people?
However- more importantly- why would anyone belong to a party that supports the termination of a life of an innocent child as it is being born. An unborn child is the most defenseless of all people in society. They cannot protect themselves and so we should do everything we can to protect them! There are organizations that support racism, discrimination and hatred- would you have a membership in them? No? Why then would you want to belong to an organization that supports the unrestricted killing of innocent children as they are being born?
It is estimated that more than 4,000 partial birth abortions take place in the United States each year.
Want to save the life of an unborn child- vote conservative……
For this reason and this reason alone- a Christian should never be a
Democrat!
