As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Follow the way of love. Seek peace, and pursue it. In the Lord, put your trust. Let not the sun go down upon your wrath. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want I can do all things through Him who strengthens me If God is for us, who can be against us? Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Thus also faith by itself, if it does not
have works, is dead. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. My soul finds rest in God alone: My salvation comes from Him. Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God. Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil
and he will flee from you. Humble yourselves in the
sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.
For a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good
fruit. And now abide faith, hope,
love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good
things in the sight of all men. Therefore, to him who knows to do good
and does not do it, to him it is sin. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all
men. Now abide, faith, hope, love, these three, but the greatest of these
is Love. Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore
love is the fulfillment of the law But he who denies Me before men will be denied before
the angels of God. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive
your trespasses. Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life
will preserve it. For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself
will be exalted. Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and
it will be opened to you. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend
it on your pleasures. Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another
has fulfilled the law Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who
loves is born of God and knows God. Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the
world, the love of the Father is not in him. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the
will of God abides forever." Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and has made the Lord his hope
and confidence. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for
the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and
in your spirit, which are God’s." "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body,
but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. When I was a child, I spoke as a child,
I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man,
I put away childish things. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness
and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may
exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for
you. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some
have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves
through with many sorrows. Speak up for those who cannot
speak for themselves, for the
rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the
rights of the poor and needy. Cursed is he who accepts
a bribe to strike down an innocent person.
And all the people shall say, Amen. Though I speak with the tongues of men
and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging
cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries
and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove
mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not
murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You
shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed
up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
